General Services Administration (GSA)

Budget provided facilities maintenance services (janitorial and grounds maintenance) for GSA at the Veach-Baley Federal Complex. This included the Veach Baley Federal Building, located in Ashville, North Carolina, which is approximately 375,338 square feet. The primary tenant is the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). It is part of the Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The NCDC maintains the world’s largest climate data archive and provides climatological services and data to every sector of the United States economy and to users worldwide. Records in the archive range from paleoclimatic data to centuries-old journals to data less than an hour old.

Budget also provided facilities maintenance services for GSA at the courthouse in Bryson City, North Carolina. The courthouse is in the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
